MEET SARA BETH...

Sara Beth is a Winter Haven native and proud product of Polk County Public Schools. Currently serving her second term on the School Board, she holds a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from the University of Florida and master’s degrees in public administration and nonprofit management from the University of Central Florida.


Sara Beth previously served as the Program Manager for the Randy Roberts Foundation and the Director of Development at Theatre Winter Haven. Most recently, she served as the President & CEO of the Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce.


In addition to serving as the PCPS Board Chair from 2021-2023, Wyatt serves as the Board liaison for Polk Vision’s Board of Directors, the Polk Academies Advisory Board, and the Polk Value Adjustment Board. She is a graduate of Leadership Winter Haven’s Class 38, Leadership Polk Class 15 and Leadership Florida’s Education Class IV. She is a recipient of the Florida School Board Association’s 2017 Emerging Leader Award and the 2021 Polk Emerging Leader Award. Sara Beth is board member and volunteer for Winter Haven’s Public Education Partnership, the Randy Roberts Foundation and she attends Redeemer City Church in Winter Haven. With strong family ties in Polk County, Sara Beth is thrilled to be back home to continue Polk County's legacy of being a great place to live, learn, work and play, while raising her own family.

  • Support the transition to school ​based budgeting to prioritize ​that dollars are spent to best ​meet the needs of each ​individual school.
  • Continue to implement the ​results of the recently ​completed efficiency audit.
  • Continue to prioritize our human ​capital with a focus on alleviating ​compression and maintaining a ​zero-premium health insurance ​option for all employees.

Access & ​Opportunity

  • Expand our Career Academies ​and workforce readiness ​programs to ensure that every ​student is empowered and ​educated on all educational and ​career opportunities.
  • Promote and provide access for ​participation in arts, sports, and ​other extracurricular programs ​to provide a well-rounded ​education for all students.
  • Remove the barriers that often ​set students back by ensuring ​access to resources.
